Southwind Animal Hospital veterinarians perform a variety of small animal surgical procedures such as spays and neuters, mass removals and other soft tissue surgeries. All surgical patients are monitored by a well-trained veterinary technician and connected to secondary monitoring equipment with continuous EKG, oxygen saturation and blood pressure measurements. We understand your concern for anesthetic risks when your pet requires surgery. We undergo an initial evaluation and thorough physical examination with our veterinarians to help guide each individual pet to the appropriate anesthetic protocol. Each pet will receive a personalized preoperative plan, a safe anesthetic drug combination and effective pain management during and after the procedure.
